Kid Cudi Reveals He Misses Kendrick Lamar

Kid Cudi Reveals He Misses Kendrick Lamar! It’s been a minute since we last heard from Kendrick Lamar. With his last album having dropped way back in 2017, it’s certainly been a long wait for fans out there. Kendrick Lamar’s launch of pGLang has left fans wondering what the “m.A.A.d city” rapper’s next move is amid updates about his forthcoming project through the grapevine. That said, we are yet to hear anything concrete about Lamar’s next album so far.

The follow-up to “DAMN” was apparently expected to drop last year; however, the coronavirus pandemic halted those plans until the return of normalcy. It still remains unclear if at all the project will actually be dropping this year, especially given how volatile the situation is as far as opening up venues is concerned.

On that note, the hard truth hip hop fans have come to live with is the fact that there’s a long-term drought  and the missing element is Kendrick Lamar’s music. Clearly, Kendrick Lamar’s absence in the game right now is being felt by many of his fans without the exception of Kid Cudi who has come out to make this clear on Twitter. “I miss Kendrick,” Cudi tweeted alongside a screenshot of Kendrick Lamar’s lyrics from the hook to “Solo Dolo Part II.”

Kid Cudi took a further stroll down memory lane as he went ahead to share lyrics as well as remembering some highlights from his 2013 effort, Indicud. The rapper further shared screenshots of himself that saw him listening to “Mad Solar” and “Lord Of The Sad And Lonely.”

Elsewhere, Kid Cudi is set to make an appearance on SNL later in the month. He also revealed that “A Kid Named Cudi” is set to hit streaming services in the near future.
