Justin Bieber Reveals His Top 5 Favorite Rappers
Justin Bieber Reveals His Top 5 Favorite Rappers! Justin Bieber has collaborated in one way or another with a good number of rappers over the years and has now come out to reveal his top five favorite rappers in hip-hop.
While appearing on DJ Khaled’s The First One podcast via Amazon Music on Thursday (March 25), the Grammy Award-winning singer unveiled the list of his top five rappers naming some all-time greats. The pair also held a conversation on the influence rap has had on Bieber’s music.
“You know, when you open this conversation there’s always room for, ‘Awe, he can’t believe this,'” Bieber began. “But, um … I would say, Lil Wayne, Biggie, Eminem, Kanye West and my favorite is Drizzy Drake.”
Bieber also admitted that his fellow Canadian Drake is “constantly pushing culture and the needle forward.” It’s not surprising that Bieber name-dropped his fellow Canadian artist Drake given that he actually featured in DJ Khaled’s music video for “Popstar” with the Drake. Though the Toronto native dominated the better part of the record, he was rarely present in the video. It was Justin Bieber instead, who lip-synced Drake’s bars throughout the entire 8-minute video.
Drake went ahead to thank Bieber on social media for standing in for him. “Thanks JB…..I owe you one,” Tweeted Drake around at the time the video dropped September last year.
Aside from Drake, Bieber has recently teamed up with Chance The Rapper on the pop singer’s song “Holy,” from Justin Bieber’s latest album, Justice. News of the joint effort first hit the news outlets on Sept. 15, 2020, after Bieber announced through social media that a song featuring himself and Chance The Rapper would be dropping a few days later on Sept. 18, 2020.
