Cardi B Shuts Down Eminem Rejection Rumors

Cardi B Shuts Down Eminem Rejection Rumors! Cardi B tops the Billboard Hot 100 even as she gears up for the release of her new album. With the release of music inching closer, the hip-hop star has come out to address a wild rumor alleging that self-proclaimed rap god Eminem turned down an offer to appear on Cardi’s new album. While it wouldn’t really be absurd if that were the case, given the huge differences in Eminem and Cardi B’s musical styles, Cardi B maintains that the reports are false, which then means that a collaboration could still be a possibility.

Cardi B took to Twitter to address the rumors of the rap mogul not wanting to work with her because apparently “she doesn’t care about the culture or her craft.”

“BIG LIES….I get off the internet and ya makin sh– up,” she wrote. “I haven’t sent no songs to no artist yet. Love his work and much respect. This don’t even make sense,” the Bronx-based rapper said.

The origin of the rumor remains unclear but Cardi’s response says it all. Given the fact that no artists have had their hands on her new album yet, there is a possibility it still probably has a few months before we can even think of receiving it, which is likely to come as a disappointment to a section of her fans.

Most recently, Cardi B has found herself having to dispel more rumors especially after the success of her hit single “Up,” which recently debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. The rumors included allegations as whether or not her latest track soured to the top due to radio-play payola. “They love to run with that ‘Payola’ to make them feel better,” Cardi said on Instagram. “Mind you, I didn’t [debut] number 1 because of my low radio play and WAP barely made radio cause it was so explicit yet still made number 1,” she added.
