Dr. Dre’s Wife Nicole Young Denied Restraining Order Amid Divorce! Even as rumors about Dr. Dre’s alleged relationship with Love & Hip Hop star Apryl Jones went viral, the mega producer’s divorce battle against his estranged wife Nicole Young continues in court. The couple was in marriage for over two decades with their union relatively without much trouble throughout that period. The announcement of their divorce has however uncovered outrageous allegations as well as demands. Nicole Young is reportedly asking for $2 million per month in temporary spousal support even as she accuses her husband of engaging in multiple affairs. With up to a billion dollars on the line, their divorce case becomes one of the most closely watched by fans.
According to TMZ , Nicole filed for an emergency domestic violence restraining order yesterday (Thursday March 11), reported that Nicole filed for an emergency domestic violence restraining order because of lyrics pontificated by her ex on a track that was previewed last month. It’s alleged that Dre referred to his wife as a “greedy b*tch” and as per the court documents, Nicole claimed, “He has upped the ante and is now outright threatening me to keep my mouth shut or else.” She also added that she feels threatened and going by her previous allegations of suffering physical abuse in the hands of her husband, Nicole strongly believed the restraining order would be granted. However, that was not be the case as the judge didn’t quite see things from her perspective.
According to TMZ, the judge cited “insufficient evidence” to support Nicole’s claims consequently throwing out her request. While responding to the latest accusations on behalf of her client, Dr. Dre’s attorney reportedly noted that the award-winning mega-producer has only spoken to his ex “once since she filed for divorce in June 2020” and that was when she paid him a visit in the hospital where he was admitted after suffering a brain aneurysm at the beginning of the year. Dr. Dre reportedly continues to deny all the accusations of domestic violence filed against him.
