Cardi B’s ‘Up’ Surges To Number 1 On Billboard Hot 100! Cardi B’s “Up” has secured its throne atop Billboard’s Hot 100 already. Following a stunning performance at the just concluded 63rd Annual Grammy Award by Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion, “Up” has now surged from Number 6 to Number 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. The hit single is now set to spend its first week atop the tally.

“Up” now becomes Cardi B’s fifth Hot 100 No. 1 having debuted at No. 2 5 weeks earlier and tallied 3 weeks at the runners-up spot prior to reaching the summit.

The Grammy award ceremony certainly played a huge role as far as boosting the numbers is concerned. Having performed “Up” as part of a medley of their 4-week 2020 Hot 100 No. 1 “WAP” with Megan Thee Stallion, on the 63rd annual Grammy Awards, that aired live on CBS, on Sunday March 14.

Also, Dua Lipa’s “Levitating,” featuring Dababy, finds its way to the Hot 100’s top 10, surging  forward to Position 7 from Position 13. This follows an impressive performance by the pair at the Grammys as part of a medley, with Dua Lipa’s prior hit “Don’t Start Now”.

The Billboard Hot 100 blends all-genre songs streaming in the United States (official audio and video), radio airplay as well as sales data. All charts dated March 27 will be updated on the platforms website (Billboard.com) Tuesday (March 23, 2021).   3. “WAP,” with Megan Thee Stallion, topped the chart for 4 weeks, debuted Aug. 22, 2020
  4. “Up,” 1 week (to date) debuts March 27, 2021
