Bobby Shmurda Finds His New York Knicks Cap After 7 Years! Ever since he was released from prison this year, New York rapper Bobby Shmurda has been keeping his fans up to date as he continues to celebrate his new-found freedom. Earning a lot of praise for taking time off his own sentence to have Rowdy Rebel’s sentence lightened, the rapper’s return home has been great news for supporters of the GS9 crew and they are always keeping track of his moves.
Popularly known for his hit songs “Hot N***a” and “Bobby B*tch”, Shmurda is undoubtedly most famous for his viral music video that followed the former record. The low-budget video, which was recorded in the streets of New York City, includes one famous scene whereby the rapper tosses his New York Knicks cap up in the air, never setting his hands on it before it apparently vanishes into thin air, from the frame. For the better part of his sentence, Bobby’s fans have constantly made jokes about the whereabouts of the said hat, and apparently, it has made a grand return.
Most definitely a little dustier 7 years later, Bobby has returned with the classic Knicks cap, flaunting it on Instagram Live. “They don’t wanna see that! The hat is back,” the rapper’s friends exclaimed as soon as he walked out with it. The video clip sees Bobby yelling repeatedly “They know where we from.”
Shmurda found the said hat prior to heading to the Brooklyn Nets vs. New York Knicks game at the Barclays Center in the company of Rowdy Rebel. As soon as the two Brooklyn natives were done watching the Nets emerge victorious in the battle of New York by a score of 117-112, Nets superstar James Harden blessed Shmurda with a signed, game-worn jersey.
