Offset Being Sued By Car Rental Company Over Bentley That He Allegedly Never Returned
Offset Being Sued By Car Rental Company Over Bentley That He Allegedly Never Returned – The Migos rapper is being sued by Platinum Transportation Group (PTG) for failing to return one of the new Bentley cars he rented in the spring of 2020, after the rapper allegedly stopped making rental payments and claimed he didn’t know where the vehicle was.
As reported by TMZ, the LA-based luxury rental service Company claims it drafted a contract with Offset in May 2020 for him to rent out a new 2020 Bentley Bentayga for a couple of days at a rate of just under $600 per day. The lease was supposedly meant to last a few days, but Offset kept requesting for extensions to his rental period. A new deal was again drafted to have him keep the vehicle until late July.
However, PTG alleges that shortly after 4 July, Offset informed them that he didn’t have the car neither did he know who had it last nor its wherebouts.
The Ental service Company claims the Migos member continued paying for the car until their deal expired on July 25, after which he stopped sending money, despite the fact he had failed to return the car.
PTG have filed a police report, and are intending to sue Offset for major financial damages, alleging they are out more than $100 000 in missed revenue from not being able to rent out the Bentley.
Offset’s car problems come after his wife and fellow rapper Cardi B, surprised him with a brand-new Lamborghini Aventador SVJ 63 Roadster in December last year for his 29th birthday. The car cost Cardi somewhere between $573,000 and $600,000.
Offset, Quavo, and Takeoff are currently working towards the release of Culture III, which is sheduled to drop at the end of the year. Migos recently teased Culture III to their fans.
