Floyd Mayweather Accepts 50 Cent’s Challenge To A Boxing Match! 5o Cent’s recent announcement that he is open to fighting Floyd Mayweather, must’ve raised many eyebrows in the entertainment world as well as across the board. But for those who’ve known the two celebrities’ personal history and their alleged long-standing beef, that wasn’t the case. The pair used to be good friends until when Mayweather allegedly refused to give the musician half of his company, according to the former boxer.

During a recent interview on V-103’s The Morning Culture, 50 Cent fronted a suggestion to put an end to the feud. “I’d fight Floyd,” he said. Went ahead to point out flaws in his plan, saying: “I don’t think I could make weight though. … Or he’d just have to let me not get down to 150. I tried I looked like a homeless person. I could make it down to probably, like 180.”

Following 50’s fearless challenge, Floyd Mayweather has now stepped up to accept the challenge offering an interesting high-stakes caveat should the fight indeed transpire. In a lengthy post promoting his upcoming fight with Logan Paul, Floyd stated that he’d be willing to fight his longtime rival. “I also heard that 50 cent would fight me but claims I’m too small,” writes Mayweather. “If he wants to lace up at the end of the year, we can do an exhibition then. I don’t care about weight class with any of these guys. The Paul brothers will make great money with the events, but with 50 cent It has to be ‘Winner Take All.'”

It’s unclear as to whether the pair will actually do everything within their power to make the fight a reality. It’s  really amusing to imagine Floyd and 50’s antagonistic relationship coming to such a conclusion.
