Cardi B Opens Up About Stars Who Declined to Join “Am I The Drama”

Cardi B will release her highly anticipated second album, Am I The Drama, on September 19 through Atlantic Records. The album features collaborations with major artists including Kehlani, Lizzo, Megan Thee Stallion, Selena Gomez, Summer Walker, Tyla, Cash Cobain, and Janet Jackson. Fans have praised the lineup, though some expressed disappointment that certain favorites did not appear on the project.

During a recent Twitter Spaces session, Cardi B addressed the concerns, stating that she does not chase artists who decline to participate. “We have asked and everything but one thing I don’t do, I don’t beg baby,” she said. She emphasized that she cannot control other people’s decisions and urged fans to manage their expectations.

Cardi added that listeners continue to underestimate her, and she believes Am I The Drama will surprise them once it drops. The album marks a major step in her career, following the success of her debut and her continued influence in the music industry.

In addition to the album, Cardi B announced her first-ever tour, the Little Miss Drama tour, starting in February. The tour will visit major cities including Las Vegas, Vancouver, Portland, Seattle, and San Francisco. Tickets go on sale on September 26 at 10 a.m. local time, with presale access for Citi cardmembers and Verizon customers beginning September 22.

Fans can expect both the album and the tour to showcase Cardi B’s energy, strong collaborations, and bold artistic vision.
