Shmurda’s fans joined the celebrations on social media moments after news of his release hit the internet. The “Hot N-gga” hitmaker was set free from prison on Tuesday (February 23) and the numbers have been going up ever since.

According to Billboard, Shmurda’s music streams rose by a whopping 624% on Monday (Feb. 22) and the day he was released (Tuesday Feb. 23). The rapper has so far seen up to 3.7 million on-demand streams on his music where he is a lead artist.

As we speak, Shmurda’s only project is his debut EP Shmurda She Wrote, released way back in November 2014. The 5-track project features his “Hot N-gga” and “Bobby Bitch” singles and was officially certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) on the very day he was released. “Hot N-gga” has also gined from the increase in streams and is now officially 5x platinum.

Following a difficult year in 2020, 21 Savage is pleased to see not only Bobby aslo but Rowdy Rebel and Kodak Black out of prison and doing well back home.

“Rowdy, Kodak and Bobby back 2021 starting off perfect,” 21 sent out a message on Twitter earlier this week.
