Bobby Shmurda Salutes Quavo For Remaining A Loyal Friend! Tuesday Feb 23 was a big day in the world of music. Bobby Shmurda became a free man at last. The rapper’s six-year bid behind bars finally came to an end Tuesday but while he remained locked up,his fans and the streets kept his name alive.
Shmurda was ushered back home in style being showered with praise on the Internet with his fans and comrades in the music industry alike. Migos rapper Quavo will certainly go down the memory lane as a man of his word. The rapper indeed kept his word as he personally picked up Shmurda on a private jet. As the duo reconnected and counted cash for the camera, Shmurda was sure to give Quavo his roses for his loyalty.
“Come here, come here,” Bobby said as he waved down Quavo. “Do your thing, it’s your time,” Quavo responded but Bobby remained persistent. “Come here. My brother right here. Man, he ain’t never switch up, the whole 6 years,” added Bobby.
It remains unclear as to whether Bobby Shmurda has gone back to the studio since his release from prison but it looks like the Shmurda-Migos project could be on its way soon. Towards the end of 2019, Quavo sent a tweet stating that he spoke to Shmurda and hinted towards a 2020 release. Though that didn’t happen, Quavo added “SHMIGO ALERT” in his tweet so there is every possibility of it happening as discussions about the project could still be ongoing.
That said, it will certainly be exciting to see what Bobby Shmurda and Rowdy Rebel have in store for us now that they’re both free. Many people expect the duo to link up in studio for a “First Day Out” record. We hope that will be arriving soon because, when it finally does, it will be sure to generate lots of attention.
