Is Baby Keem And Kendrick Lamar Working On A New Project Together?

Is Baby Keem And Kendrick Lamar Working On A New Project Together?Kendrick Lamar has been somewhat silent since the end of the Black Panther: The Album era in 2018. While the “m.A.A.d city” hitmaker’s music releases have been sparse over the last 3 years, he did launch pgLang in 2020. The artist Service Company pgLang has been connected to The Weeknd’s “Blinding Lights [Remix]” lyric video and Calvin Klein’s “7” campaign in the recent past.

The brand is also closely associated with Baby Keem with Lamar having interviewed the California-based rapper about pgLang among other topics in October 2020.

It has now emerged that Keem and Lamar are also focusing on releasing more music in the near future. A video shared on Baby Keem’s Instagram page got fans of both artists enthralled to see what could possibly come from the team.

According to the Instagram clip, someone dressed in a black hoodie is seen inside a recording studio. An unidentified voice can be heard while a song plays in the background. IG users immediately, began questioning if that was Lamar talking.

Boi-1da’s comment on Keem’s post with three fire emojis only aggravated the situation leading to more speculation that the Grammy-winning producer was in one way involved with whatever the pgLang crew is putting together. Boi-1da has previously worked with Lamar on songs like “The Blacker the Berry” off To Pimp a Butterfly.

Could Keem’s Instagram post possibly be a precursor to the follow-up project to his 2019 mixtape Die for My B####? Does the 20-year-old rapper have what it takes to drop an official studio album? Is Kendrick Lamar on the verge of returning with new music? Such are the kind of questions the public is asking right now.

Baby Keem bagged a Platinum plaque for his single “Orange Soda” from Die for My B####. His current discography also consists of 2018’s The Sound of a Bad Habit mixtape in addition to several EPs. The track “Hooligan” debuted last September accompanied by a music video directed by Jake Schreier.
