Tory Lanez Rubbishes Forbes Claims That His Music Streams Have Dropped By 40%

Tory Lanez Rubbishes Forbes Claims That His Music Streams Have Dropped By 40%! Forbes had reported that fans were boycotting the rapper’s music resulting in his total streaming numbers “plummeting” by up to 40 percent in the wake of Megan’s accusations.

Lanez’ streams were between 20-30 million since mid-June, according to Nielsen Music/MRC Data. However, after Megan’s live stream on Aug. 20, Tory’s streaming numbers reportedly fell by nearly 9 million, a 40% decrease from the previous week’s 22 million streams.

After many publications picked up on the story including Hot New Hip Hop, Tory Lanez directly sent a message to the publication on Instagram denying the reports sharing the number of streams he currently has on Spotify.

“Lmao that’s such a lie. 40% Where??!!!“, he said in the message. “I have 27 million monthly listeners on Spotify currently,” he added.

It was earlier reported just a week ago that Tory Lanez’ audio streams have went down from 30 million to 10 million. He has come forward to share that his audio streams on the streaming network of note is at a solid 29 million.

Despite the Canadian rapper being confirmed to be Megan Thee Stallion’s shooter, he still has a number of loyal fans who still stream his music. Earlier reports have showed that he has even reached a milestone in his music career and has bagged the highest number of streams in his career to date.
