Nas Reveals Why He Couldn’t Finish His Collabo With Notorious B.I.G
Nas Reveals Why He Couldn’t Finish His Collabo With Notorious B.I.G. It seems that if things had gone in a different way today we would have a Nas and Notorious B.I,G collabo. Nas shared and revealed that he was too much in a “state” so he ended up not being able to finish his collabo with Biggie.
Nas reveled on a recent The Breakfast Club interview that he could not finish his collabo with Notorious B.I.G because he got too high. The rapper made it in studio with the rap legend, but his friend gave him some strong weed that left him in a very high state and he could not finish recording.
The main major reason that caused for the songs not to materialize is because Nas got too high in studio, during the time that should have been recording. The ‘King’s Disease’ rapper shared in his interview that he was “zonked out”, he said he was not warned and they had been rolling some “chocolate from Brooklyn”.
The high hit the 6 year old rapper so badly, he shared that he was not even able to return to the studio the next day. He was still high the next day and the song could not be recorded. He shared that he also meant to remix some things with Biggie for ‘Ready To Die’ but sadly it did not happen.
Nas and Biggie were meant to work on about 2 singles together, but since Biggie had been killed in a drive by shooting in the 1990s, the two rappers collabos were stopped from taking place. If the “Big Papa” rapper was still alive they would have been able to finish recording their collaborative songs.
