Former WWE Star Shad Gaspard passes at age 39
The Shade Room passes its condolences to all those that survived by him. They report that a body matching his description was found and identified by the Los Angeles beach. He is said to have went missing after going for a swim in Venice beach.
Shad Gaspard (January 13, 1981 – May 17, 2020) was an American professional wrestler and actor. He is best known for his time with WWE, where he teamed with his partner JTG as a member of Cryme Tyme under his real name.
Since departing WWE in 2010, Gaspard had pursued an acting career that included several roles in films and television series like Think Like a Man Too, Get Hard, The Game, and From Dusk till Dawn: The Series. He was also the co-creator of the graphic novel Assassin & Son.

We’re sad to report that a body matching his description was found and Identified by the Los Angeles County Coroner.

According to @tmz_tv, the body was found around 1:30 AM this morning near the Venice Pier and called in.

As reported, Shad went swimming with his 10-year-old son Aryeh, and heroically told the lifeguards to focus on getting his child to safety first. When the lifeguards came back for Shad, he’d unfortunately lost his fight to the current and was pronounced missing from that point.
