Dj Envy celebrates his 19th wedding anniversary with his wife Gia. He expresses his gratitude and love for his wife for sticking with him through it.
Casey married Gia Casey in 2001. The couple has five children: daughters Madison, London, and Brooklynn and sons Logan and Jaxson. He has been a resident of Kinnelon, New Jersey.
DJ Envy and his wife, Gia Casey, recently sat down with Essence Live to talk about their marriage and overcoming Envy’s infidelity.
The spoke first about the fact that they were still together even after Envy had cheated on Casey, crediting God with keeping their marriage together.
“You know, I’m not going to say I wasn’t into church and God before, but when that incident happened, it just opened our eyes as a family; not just me and my wife. To the point where, we pray every morning before I go to work. Everything in our family is based on our faith now,” Envy said.
As for how he got caught, Envy said: “Social media and a bluff. She bluffed and said she knew something that I thought she knew so I wound up telling on myself.”
“I’m a good bluffer,” Casey added.
“But actually, and I hate to say it, but it has made our relationship stronger. We’re closer. It’s like we’re on another level,” Envy said.
Given that Dj Envy has been unfaithful to his wife and the fact that they had to overcome his infidelity 19 years is a long way to come. This shows that they have stuck together for 19 years overcoming the challenges life brings and that come with marriage.
He wrote the following in an instagram post:
“19 years ago today, We both said “I Do” and I married the love of my life…I know it hasn’t been easy being married to me, but with out you, there is no me.. There is no fame, no success no DJ Envy… You rode when others laughed.. You believed and pushed when most said it couldn’t happen… My life has changed so much since our marriage.. You helped me grow, you molded me and taught me to love like I never could have imagined.. What makes a marriage last… Love, Understanding, Forgiveness and Communication… I LOVE YOU @gia_casey!!! Happy Anniversary Baby!!!! ♥️
