2 Chainz Planning To Release Another Album! For the last couple of years, 2 Chainz has maintained a steadier pace than many of his peers, having released 3 solo albums within the past 4 years in Rap Or Go To The League, Pretty Girls Like Trap Music, and most recently So Help Me God. While some artists would be content such a steady output, for 2 Chainz, things are quite different. Every indication reveals that the rapper isn’t going to take a breather any time soon. Already the rapper has started teasing another new project, taking to Twitter to break the news, a move many think was meant to test the waters.
“Im Fina drop another project,” tweeted Tity Boi. The rapper doesn’t go further to give more details than that. Even as some people make the assumption that 2 Chainz is sitting on another solo release, there is every possibilty that he is alluding to his anticipated sequel to Collegrove, an album he is set to collaborate with Lil Wayne. Speaking of which, 2 Chainz has been quite silent on that front, despite having been pretty vocal about Collegrove 2 in the lead-up to So Help Me God. The album was originally envisaged to drop last year, but such a reality never manifested.
Even though he may have openly discussed Collegrove 2 in the past, nothing concrete indicates that he’s committed to making it a reality. Either way, we expect 2 Chainz to deliver this project before the end of the year.
