Kanye West and Travis Scott Reportedly Teaming Up on New Project

Kanye West and Travis Scott are reportedly collaborating on a new project, according to Havoc of Mobb Deep. In a recent interview with Complex, Havoc revealed his involvement in the project while discussing his contributions to West’s 10-year-old album, The Life of Pablo. “Recently, I did a track — I don’t want to blow up the spot and say it just in case if it don’t ever come out. But I will say, he’s working on a project, I believe, with Travis Scott,” Havoc said. He confirmed that a few of his tracks have already made the cut.
The announcement comes after a period of public tension between West and Scott, which began during Kanye’s social media outbursts in early 2025. Despite the conflict, the two artists appeared to reconcile later that year. During a performance in Sydney, Australia, Travis Scott gave a shoutout to Kanye, hinting at a possible collaboration. The duo reunited onstage in Tokyo, Japan, where they performed several of Kanye’s classics, including “Can’t Tell Me Nothing,” “Runaway,” and “Carnival.”
Kanye is also set to release a new solo album, his first since 2024’s Vultures 2, a collaborative project with Ty Dolla $ign. Reports indicate that his 12th studio album, Bully, is scheduled for release on March 30 under a deal with Gamma., a music company founded by former Apple executive Larry Jackson.
The rumored Kanye West and Travis Scott project is expected to generate significant attention, given both artists’ influence in the hip-hop industry. West has worked closely with Havoc on multiple tracks in the past, including “Real Friends,” “Famous,” and “Vultures (Havoc Version),” suggesting the collaboration could feature a mix of both artists’ signature styles.
This collaboration may also serve as a step in repairing Kanye’s public image following his recent apology for antisemitic remarks, which he published as a full-page ad in The Wall Street Journal. Fans are anticipating how the combination of Kanye West’s innovative production and Travis Scott’s energetic performances will translate into the studio.
