Last week delivered a wave of new music from rap’s biggest names, both past and present. Offset returned with his second album of the year, Kodak Black ended his two-year hiatus with a surprise Halloween-themed project, and Westside Gunn completed his Heels Have Eyes trilogy, continuing his prolific 2025 output.

Fans of late rap legend Big L received the long-awaited posthumous album Harlem’s Finest: Return of the King, part of Nas and Mass Appeal’s Legend Has It… series. The album features appearances from Nas, JAY-Z, Mac Miller, Method Man, Joey Bada$$, and more. Other notable releases include new projects from DJ Premier and Ransom, Saba, and Lloyd Banks.

On the singles side, NLE Choppa fired at NBA YoungBoy on his 2Pac-inspired track “KO,” Wale promoted his upcoming album Everything Is a Lot with “City On Fire,” and Brent Faiyaz delivered smooth vibes with his new single “Have To.”
