Lil Baby Sets December 3 Release for “The Leak$” Album

Lil Baby has confirmed the release date for his highly anticipated project, “The Leak$,” sharing the news on Instagram that the album will drop on December 3, his 31st birthday. Accompanying the announcement, he posted the cover artwork and wrote: “I’m Dropping ‘The Leaks’ next week for my birthday 12/3 to celebrate with the fans who kept these leaks & snippets alive. Presave link in bio. And its still WHAM Wednesday…new song & video at 12PM ET.”

Fans quickly responded in the comments, expressing excitement with fire emojis and praise. Some remained skeptical, referencing past delays. “Man I’ll believe it when I see it,” one fan wrote. Another added, “Here we go again.” Lil Baby had previously promised the project in August and September, but both potential release dates passed without the album dropping.

Lil Baby’s “WHAM Wednesday” series has kept fans engaged in the lead-up to the album. Each week, he releases a new single tied to the project. Recent tracks include “Real Sh*t,” “Try To Love,” and “Otha Boy.” The track scheduled for this week has yet to be announced.

“Otha Boy” attracted attention for a possible diss aimed at former collaborator Gunna. In the song, Lil Baby raps: “Make a rapper take his clothes off, that boy a male stripper / Try to speak on me to throw it off, these n**s still snitchin’ / This lil’ button on the back will show a na how to switch up / Push up on ’em at the gym, I hope ’em n**s doin’ they push-ups / For a fact, you n***s hoes, the city knows this ain’t no diss song.”

The rapper previously confirmed in 2024 that he and Gunna no longer maintain a relationship, sharing the update during an interview with Charlamagne tha God on the Out of Context series.

Fans can expect “The Leak$” to arrive on December 3, with Lil Baby continuing to build momentum through his weekly “WHAM Wednesday” releases. The album marks a major milestone in his career and promises to satisfy fans who have followed the leaks and snippets for months.
