Cardi B Confirms No Deluxe for “Am I The Drama?” But Plans New Album

Cardi B has revealed that she will not release a deluxe edition of her sophomore album, “Am I The Drama?,” just weeks after its launch. During a recent Twitter Spaces session, the rapper confirmed fans will only get the original album.
“I see you guys asking for a deluxe or asking to do a remix album like Charli X[CX] or something,” Cardi said. “Unfortunately, I am not doing none of that. […] What I gave y’all is what y’all getting.”
Despite skipping a deluxe, Cardi teased her next project. She said she plans to release another album within a year and described it as a fresh era with a different style from her current work. “I kinda know what I want it to look like. It’s gonna be different from Am I the Drama?” she added.
“Am I The Drama?” sparked attention for its controversial lyrics, taking shots at artists including JT, Lil Uzi Vert, and BIA. The album also reignited her longstanding feud with Nicki Minaj, leading to a heated exchange on social media where both sides insulted each other’s children. Both eventually issued apologies on X, though the statements were widely seen as backhanded.
Cardi also addressed attempts to target her endorsements amid the feud. “A lot of y’all been tagging all the companies that I get endorsements from, trying to take the endorsements from me and do funny s**t,” she said. “Guess what? It’s not going to happen.”
With a new album already in the works, Cardi B appears focused on moving past the drama of her current project and setting the stage for a fresh musical chapter.
