NBA YoungBoy Disses Lil Durk During Houston Show

NBA YoungBoy has reignited his feud with Lil Durk, this time taking shots at the Chicago rapper live on stage during his show in Houston.

Before performing his track “I Hate YoungBoy,” which already includes several disses aimed at Durk, the Baton Rouge artist paused to address the crowd. He called Durk a “pussy ass n-gga,” drawing a mix of boos and cheers. YoungBoy then ranted further about his rival, though much of it was inaudible, before launching into the song to loud reactions from the audience.

The incident took place on September 7 during YoungBoy’s stop in Houston on his MASA Tour. Clips of the performance quickly surfaced online, fueling debate about the pair’s rocky relationship.

YoungBoy has previously claimed the feud with Durk was for entertainment. Speaking to Gillie Da Kid, he said, “It ain’t what you think OG, all this shit entertainment.” He also admitted that he and Durk have spoken on several occasions, sometimes “every two or three nights,” mostly about music.

Despite those claims, their tensions remain unresolved. Shortly after the latest incident, Durk appeared to respond on social media, accusing YoungBoy of sending him a fake home address. “You lied bout sending the address 7x when I asked I’m finna grab my coat 1 more time send the address,” he wrote on Instagram Stories.

The feud between the two rappers traces back to late 2021 after the murder of King Von, a close friend and labelmate of Durk. Von was killed during an altercation involving Quando Rondo, who is affiliated with YoungBoy. Since then, the rivalry has flared up repeatedly, both online and through music.

Earlier this year, tensions escalated when their albums were scheduled for release on the same day. YoungBoy used X, formerly Twitter, to take aim at Durk, posting: “@lildurk you a bitch & yo nasty ass hoe and it’s shown,” and, “@lildurk lol you ever realized you only get a buzz when one of your friends die. Think about it scary bum bitch you know I ain’t lying ha ha #fact.”

The conflict has also spilled over into other areas. Terrance “Gangsta” Williams, Birdman’s brother, alleged that YoungBoy was involved in a jailhouse fight at FCI Talladega in Alabama. According to Williams, YoungBoy was placed in solitary confinement after hitting an inmate who yelled “OTF,” a nod to Durk’s Only The Family crew.

The Houston incident shows that while both rappers have hinted at reconciliation, the feud continues to play out in public. Fans will be watching closely to see whether this latest diss leads to new music, more exchanges online, or even another escalation in their ongoing rivalry.
