Latto and Ice Spice Collaborate on “Gyatt,” Potentially Ending Years-Long Feud

Latto and Ice Spice, two of female rap’s most prominent voices, have finally teamed up on the new single “Gyatt,” signaling a possible end to their years-long feud. While female rap beefs are often fueled by fanbases or industry pressures, this collaboration shows the artists are willing to turn tension into music.

“Gyatt” is the first official collaboration between the Atlanta and Bronx stars, leading many fans to interpret it as a reconciliation. However, some lyrical moments and the boxing ring-themed cover art suggest that competitive energy remains. The track blends playful barbs with collaborative synergy, leaving interpretation up to listeners.

Latto delivers some of the sharper lines on the track. “I st on hoes for sure, but I ain’t into the scat / I turn around and thick st has entered the chat,” she raps. She continues, “This he think I forgot, but bh, you still on the plate,” referencing both her Sugar Honey Iced Tea LP and Ice Spice’s single “Think U The St (Fart),” which many fans viewed as a diss.

Ice Spice’s verses are less pointed, though she includes a line that may nod to their past tensions: “Big Spice, ain’t never worried about how another h*e move.” Whether this represents a true truce or a friendly showdown is left to fan interpretation.

The feud between Latto and Ice Spice began in early 2023, largely through social media shade and indirect comments, with neither artist fully explaining the rift. Both remained aware of each other’s moves, often addressing questions about the supposed tension without directly escalating it.

With “Gyatt,” the artists have opted to channel their history into a single rather than continuing online disputes. Fans will now watch to see whether this collaboration leads to further music together or if competitive undertones remain part of their dynamic.
