Cardi B Prepares for Sophomore Album and Tour

Cardi B is set to release her long-awaited sophomore album, Am I The Drama?, just weeks away from its September 19 launch. The project comes more than seven years after her Grammy-winning debut, Invasion of Privacy. In recent weeks, fans have speculated about Cardi hiding a baby bump, adding curiosity about what her schedule and activities will look like in the coming months.
The album has already been announced with singles and promotional material, but official tour dates have not yet been revealed. This absence sparked rumors that Cardi might skip touring in 2025. She addressed the speculation during an Instagram Live session captured by fan account @BardisMedia on X.
“The tour announcement is coming as fast as you guys think,” Cardi B said, sharing her excitement. “After all of this album rollout and album release, I go straight into tour prep. So there’s gonna be no time to waste.”
Cardi has not toured extensively since 2019, when she performed a series of shows after postponing a planned 2018 co-headline tour with Bruno Mars due to her first pregnancy. That 2019 run included mostly festival dates, with only six standalone shows, and none in her hometown of New York City.
Fans can expect a more comprehensive tour this time, as Cardi has confirmed she will immediately begin preparations following the album release. Am I The Drama? promises to mark a return to full-scale performances for the rapper, offering fans a long-awaited chance to see her on stage again.
