Cardi B Flips Courtroom Win Into Merch Drop For “AM I THE DRAMA?” Album

Cardi B has turned her courtroom moments into marketing gold. The Bronx rapper, known for her blunt personality and animated expressions, made headlines during her civil assault trial. Her unapologetic statements and meme-worthy reactions went viral, sparking widespread online chatter.
Wasting no time, Cardi B has used the attention to push her upcoming sophomore album, AM I THE DRAMA?. She announced a special merch drop tied to her trial moments, available now through her online store.
The drop includes four physical variants of the album. Three are CDs, each featuring different photos of Cardi inside the courtroom. The fourth is a vinyl edition that uses the original album cover but adds a twist. The discs themselves carry one of her viral facial reactions from day two of the trial.
Pricing is straightforward. Each CD costs $10.00, while the vinyl is $39.98. All formats will officially release on September 19. The listing makes it clear that these are limited-run products. “Available for a limited time only, one time print run. Limited edition alternate cover CD. Due to the limited nature of this product, refunds and exchanges will not be permitted,” the description notes.
The merch announcement came just one day after Cardi B secured a legal victory. On September 2, she won her civil trial against Emani Ellis, a former security guard who accused the rapper of spitting on her, scratching her, and more during a Beverly Hills altercation. Ellis sought $24 million in damages. Cardi admitted to yelling obscenities but denied ever putting her hands on Ellis.
The win gives Cardi momentum as she heads into her album rollout. AM I THE DRAMA? arrives September 19 and will feature tracks including “Outside,” “Imaginary Playerz,” “Up,” and “WAP.”
