Baby Gee’s “Who Is Baby Gee?” Sparks Drama Between Dave Blunts and 50 Cent

Late last month, Baby Gee released his new track Who Is Baby Gee?. The song takes direct aim at Dave Blunts, mocking his weight, persona, and public image. What began as a targeted diss track quickly turned into a larger storyline when 50 Cent gave it his approval on Instagram.
“Kanye can’t help you, the little homies on ya a** now !,” 50 wrote under a clip of the song. Baby Gee responded in the comments with excitement. “Yeahhhhh Fiff!!!!!” he replied, happy to receive a co-sign from one of rap’s most seasoned trolls.
50 Cent’s involvement makes sense. His issues with Blunts go back months. Their conflict first escalated in June, shortly after Ye appeared in court to support Diddy during his sex trafficking and racketeering trial. 50 Cent mocked Ye’s presence with an Instagram post showing himself in a white suit, captioned, “We are wearing white in honor of the freak offs. Damn Ye you should have brought your dirty little wife with that Grammys outfit! @50centaction.”
That jab set Blunts off. He fired back at 50 Cent directly, even dragging his former partner Daphne Joy. “@50cent your bm was getting pooped and peed on,” Blunts alleged. “Hold this L and stop riding dck.”
Blunts then teased a diss track aimed squarely at 50 Cent, threatening to expose his past and belittle his career. He referenced the infamous shooting that left 50 Cent wounded, while also suggesting that his best years in music were behind him. 50 responded in typical fashion with another Instagram post, this time featuring a photo of Blunts. “Ye this ya manz? If I catch him im pushing down the stairs,” he captioned.
The exchange grew more personal when Blunts posted a still from 50 Cent’s movie All Things Fall Apart, where he plays a football player battling cancer. “I been going to the gym and been locked in on my health journey,” Blunts wrote. “The world is watching me lose weight but you lost all that weight for that weak a** movie and nobody watched that sh*t.”
With Baby Gee now in the mix, the feud has only gained more attention. His song not only reignited tensions but also gave 50 Cent another chance to take shots at Blunts. Whether this turns into a string of diss tracks or fizzles out as Instagram trolling remains to be seen, but the back-and-forth has clearly struck a chord in the rap world.
