6ix9ine Targets Meek Mill Over Alleged “Rat” Comments and Nipsey Hussle Reference

6ix9ine reignited his long-running feud with Meek Mill on Monday, calling out the Philadelphia rapper in a fiery Instagram Story. The Brooklyn artist reshared a post that appeared to show Meek criticizing “rats” while bringing up the 2019 death of Nipsey Hussle. The post’s authenticity remains uncertain, as it seems to originate from X (formerly Twitter) and features a profile picture that does not match Meek’s current one.

The alleged post attributed to Meek reads: “I hope that rat going live to apologize to the people he told on or the victim….. Y’all forgot that fast a ‘rat’ killed nipsey he wasn’t suppose to be on the streets! That’s the only thing ima day because he’s dead… left his baby mom and child like a coward as targets!”

While resharing the screenshot, 6ix9ine mocked Meek by labeling him the “Hood President” and fired back with a jab: “Question since you always had an opinion YOU STILL PERFORMING WE BALL?”

The reference was aimed at Meek’s 2017 track “We Ball” from his Wins & Losses album, which features Young Thug. The mention added another layer of controversy, as Thug has recently been pulled into social media debates over alleged snitching.

The drama surrounding Thug flared up when a resurfaced interrogation video showed him mentioning Peewee Roscoe. Some online users accused him of cooperating with police, but Roscoe defended Thug in response. “That’s what you’re supposed to do,” Roscoe explained. “When you go in the interrogation room, that’s what you do. You tell ’em ‘We sold Dwayne Carter weed.’ What the fck is wrong with you? A statement is this right here…. He did what a tax-paying citizen do, a real street n**a. He kept it silent, kept it overly real. Really, tried to pull me out the hole.”

Meek has not directly responded to 6ix9ine’s post but did share his own message on Instagram later that day. His statement appeared to distance himself from street politics. “Street glorification is a joke,” he wrote. “Of course there are no morals. You can’t have a code of ethics when nothing you’re doing is ethical. Focus on investing, trading, tech, & entrepreneurship. The other way is a circus with no ringleader. Next interview I do ima explain why the streets a ‘FULL MYTH’ !!!!!!”

The online back-and-forth adds to a long history of tension between 6ix9ine and Meek Mill, with both rappers frequently clashing over issues of credibility, street codes, and authenticity. With Nipsey Hussle’s name being dragged into the feud, the latest exchange is already sparking heated reactions across social platforms.
