Over two decades after Ghostface Killah released his 2000 classic Supreme Clientele, the Wu-Tang Clan legend is finally ready to deliver its long-awaited sequel. Supreme Clientele 2 was first announced for June, but after delays, fans can now expect the album on August 22.
The official tracklist was revealed through the vinyl pre-order listing on Mass Appeal’s website, and the features make clear that Ghostface is aiming big. Hip hop heavyweights like Nas, Styles P, Conway the Machine, and M.O.P. are confirmed. Dave Chappelle is also involved, adding another layer of cultural weight. Wu-Tang Clan icons Raekwon, GZA, and Method Man will join Ghostface on key tracks, signaling a strong connection to the group’s roots.
Ghostface Killah spoke about the mindset behind the project. “Supreme Clientele was a frame of mind and era in time. You could never duplicate that feeling, but you can tap back in,” he explained. “We dug in the files from years ago and pulled together a Clientele that is Supreme! Get ready: Supreme Clientele 2 is now.” The statement points to a mix of nostalgia and new energy, promising that while the spirit of the original remains, the sound will be updated for today’s listeners.
Ghostface has given fans a preview with two new singles. Last month he released “Rap Kingpin,” a track that flips Eric B. & Rakim’s “My Melody” and his own Supreme Clientele classic “Mighty Healthy.” More recently, he dropped “Metaphysics,” another cut from the upcoming LP. Both songs have built momentum ahead of the full release.
