Eminem Disses Kanye West on New Song “Animals (Pt. 1)” with JID

Eminem has reignited controversy with the release of his latest track “Animals (Pt. 1),” a hard-hitting collaboration with Dreamville lyricist JID. On the song, the Detroit rap legend takes a direct jab at Kanye West, referencing the rapper’s recent shocking revelations about his past.

“Animals (Pt. 1)” marks the second team-up between Eminem and JID, following last year’s fan-favorite “Fuel.” But unlike their previous effort, this new track dives deep into raw commentary, with Em using razor-sharp bars to mock Ye’s public confessions. In a particularly scathing verse, Eminem raps:

“With these magazines, I act out like Ye and his cousin /
Little cocksucker, I’m sprayin’ and bustin’ /
Your shit sucks dick, stop sayin’ it doesn’t /
That’s probably the reason there’s nothin’ you’ve bodied of recent.”

The diss appears to reference Kanye West’s viral and disturbing post earlier this year, in which he admitted to having a sexual relationship with his male cousin during their youth. In a since-deleted post on X (formerly Twitter), West revealed deeply personal childhood trauma and expressed guilt about influencing his cousin’s future actions. The post shocked fans and critics alike, leading to widespread concern and debate.

Rapper Cam’ron even addressed the situation on his own platform, expressing interest in interviewing the cousin Kanye mentioned. Cam claimed his team was actively trying to locate the relative, who is reportedly serving a life sentence for murder. “We’re actually on the hunt to find him personally at this moment,” Cam said, suggesting a potential interview could shed light on the effects of Kanye’s actions and past trauma.

So far, Kanye West has not responded to Eminem’s lyrical attack, but fans of both artists are watching closely to see if a response will come. With both rappers known for their bold and often unfiltered expressions, the situation could escalate quickly.

“Animals (Pt. 1)” has sparked immediate buzz online, not just for the content of its lyrics but for the powerhouse collaboration between two of hip hop’s most intricate rhymers. Whether this marks the beginning of a new feud or just a one-off lyrical assault remains to be seen. Either way, Eminem has once again proven that he’s not afraid to court controversy, especially when it comes to addressing the industry’s biggest names.
