According to TMZ, an anonymous woman has filed a lawsuit accusing the rapper of assault and battery after Cardi allegedly threw a microphone into the crowd, hitting her in the process.
The lawsuit claims that Cardi B asked the audience to throw water on her to cool down during the show. When a fan near the plaintiff threw water at Cardi, the rapper reportedly became enraged and threw her microphone toward the crowd. This moment was captured on video and quickly went viral across social media platforms.
At the time, local police investigated the incident but decided not to press charges. Despite that, the legal complaint now alleges physical harm caused by the thrown microphone.

“WAP and Up are two of my biggest songs, my fans have been asking me to put them on an album, and people search for them on IOP all the time… they deserve a home.”
