Doja Cat Pays Homage To Legendary Women Artists With New ‘Stage Name’ – Women in Rap have been part of the chatter of late amid conversations about who is besting who on-going. Just last week, cupcakKe reignited things when she shared a tweet stating that there lacks lyrical women emcees. This seemingly enraged hip hop fans as they began giving reasons why that isn’t a true statement. This forced cupcakKe to return to social media and double down on her previous remarks.

Apart from the discussion about who is the best female artist that brings the bars, some people have complained about lack the of enough support and unity with regard to women in the music industry.

In the wake of this conversation, Doja Cat seemed to pay homage to her fellow rappers and R&B singers with a simple tweet. The Hot Pink artist joked that she had plans of changing her name and included a few women that she admires.

Doja Cat hopped on Twitter to give followers a glimpse of her new stage name. In her initial attempt, she started by combining the names of Nicki Minaj, Beyonce, Ariana Grande, Lizzo, and Katy Perry.

“Changing my stage name to Dojickiminegantheyoncégrandizzo Perry B, she tweeted.”

A fan reminded her that she had left out Rihanna to the name. How could she even forget Bad Gal Riri? She replied, “god fu**in damnit lemme restart.”

Her final stage name was a combination of the aforementioned and added both Rihanna and SZA.

“New stage name: Dojickiminegantheyoncé Grandizzoperryihannaza B.”

Another fan then questioned her what the “Za” stood for, and Doja’s answer was, “B*tch Sza tf.” She obviously couldn’t forget her “Kiss Me More” collaborator.

That Doja Cat is a creative well beyond her years is no secret. From her provocative visuals to far more stunning performances, the “Streets” hit maker never disappoints. She earned a Grammy nomination with the release of her sophomore project, Hot Pink. She also scored her first Hot 100 No. 1 debut with the Nicki Minaj assisted, “Say So Remix.”
