Stefflon Don Drops “Can’t Let You Go (Remix)” Starring Tiwa Savage And Rema! In search of an intoxicating dose of Afro-pop energy, British rapper Stefflon Don goes all the way to Nigeria tapping into the genre’s biggest promoters, Tiwa Savage and Rema on her Can’t Let You Go Remix. The original of “Can’t Let You Go” was released late last year, a song in which the artist brings in different melodic styles giving the song a unique appeal.
The Can’t Let You Go Remix sees Tiwa Savage and Rema add some new twists of their own to the song’s subject line:
“Shey mi jeje jeje o, while you put me on something new, wa mi bi kete kete o, all I need is in you, you know I know, you love my kpekus, …/”
The remix comes in an animated visual courtesy of Ben Dosage.In the video, Stefflon Don is seen landing her ship on a presumed alien location Island 54. While there, Stefflon and her collaborators dance well into the night, adding to the track the much needed energy.
“Can’t Let You Go” comes after a quite a number of loose singles from Stefflon, namely: “Don Walk” with Rymez, “Move,” “Take Off” with Kojo Funds,” “Phone Down” with Lil Baby, and “Hit Me Up”. The hit maker has also made some recent appearances on tracks like Kash Doll’s “How It’s Done,” Wiley’s “Boasty,”JP Cooper’s “The Reason Why,” and “Link Up” with Geko. she’s reported to be currently working on her official debut LP.
Stefflon Don’s last full-length project, SECURE, dropped in 2018 and saw 16 cuts with additional assists from Future, Fekky, Haile, Tiggs Da Author, Sean Paul, Popcaan, Sizzla, and last but not least, DJ Khaled. The British rapper also joined the likes of Lil Pump, JID, Smokepurpp, YBN Nahmir, and Trippie Redd as members of XXL Magazine’s highly touted Freshman class.
