T.I. and Fabolous recently shared about the old industry standards of marketing artists. The standard were meant to appeal to fans of the opposite sex. It was somewhat a set of hip-hop unofficial rules on relationships, where family life was not showed at the forefront of ones musical career.

The ‘Live Your Life’ rapper, T.I. also added and mentioned that Atlantic Records did not want people knowing that they had partners or girlfriends.

The two rappers are known for being family men, they have found ways to showcase their families to the public such as with T.I’s family reality show and Fabolous’ stylish family pictures. Both of them have been in relationships form the start of their careers. It m,ust have been an issue for them in early times to not openly shared about the significant women in their lives and their families.

These days the hip-hop marketing standards and strategies are different rappers are able to show their partners openly, it somehow adds on to their profile and fans love to follow the details of their relationship and their families. The rapper is still supported regardless of his relationship status.
