50 Cent had filed and appeal lawsuit against Rick Ross as he had used his his song and produced an unauthorized remix of his song “In Da Club”. their battle has been ongoing and it has consisted of many aspects that include the song issues and other issues.

The lawsuit battle of the song that Ross used ended badly for the “Candy Shop” rapper. A report has just been released stating that 50 has lost the 5 years long battle. The battle had been over the fact that Rick Ross used a sample of “In Da club”in his mixtape. 50 Cent originally sued Rozay for $2 million and cited trademark infringements.

Later then it was proved that 50 Cent does not own any copyright interest to his song “In Da Club”. The rights belonged to Shady/Aftermath and not to 50 based on their Recording agreement. The court then ended up ruling to Rick Ross’ favor. the US appeal court on the 18th of August 2020 has decided to also uphold the discussion.

It seems that now Ross had received this favor and he can now rub it in the face of 50. Now another aspect is that the ‘Get rich Or Die Tryin’ might end up being the one to be sued by Shady/Aftermath. The situation has unraveled in an unfortunate way for 50 and now.
