IDK & Offset Join Forces On New Single ‘Shoot My Shot!’ IDK is currently said to be gearing up for the release of his forthcoming album USEE4YOURSELF. Having already blessed us with “2 Cents” and “Just Like Martin,” his two presumed charismatic cuts from the project, the hit maker has also teased other collabos with the likes of Lil Yachty and fellow DMV star Brent Faiyaz. Today, he spills over the same momentum with the T-Minus-produced “SHOOT MY SHOT,” featuring Offset. The fresh new single sees the rapper open up about his respective rules of engagement in regards to women, single or otherwise.
On the song, the two rappers show off their ability to capture the attention of any woman they set their eyes on. The track is accompanied by a charismatic video that’s full of beautiful women and plenty of “shooting” references.
It looks like IDK may have purged Saweetie’s name from the lyrics where he references her hit track, “My Type.” Genius lists him saying “My type, My type, like Saweetie, my type,” but the final version seems not to include her name, which may be as a result of a fallout from her recent split with Quavo.
There is a high likelihood the new single could land on the rapper’s upcoming album, U See 4 Yourself. The rapper’s upcoming effort is set to be the sequel to his major-label debut album, which he delivered back in 2019. So far, there’s little information about IDK’s second album, but given his recent action, we hope that news about it will be arriving sooner than later.
Prior to his new single with Offset, IDK flaunted his falsetto voice in a cover of Pharrell and Jay-Z’s 2003 track, “Frontin.” IDK also made sure he gave his supporters a hard-hitting effort with “2 Cents” after fighting his opponents on “King Alfred” and while at it, he also offered a remix of Pooh Shiesty’s “Back In Blood” and teamed up with Deante Hitchcock and Flatbush Zombies to remix Spillage Village’s “Baptize.”
