Kanye West Reportedly Drops Out Of 2020 Presidential Race. Award winning rapper Kanye West had the shortest run for president, it has been reported that he is no longer running for president and had to bow out of the run cause of not being able to get on the ballot.
Kanye West has pulled out and withdrawn from the US prsidential race. The “Graduation’ rapper had to let go of wanting to be president just two weeks after he had announced that he is running, A member of Kanye’s campaign team who had been hired to get Kanye into the ballot list announced that the rapper was out of the run for president.
The news came just after the numbers of a presdidential poll by Redfield & Wilton Strategies was released. The Chicago rapper recieved on 2% of the vote. Third party candidates received a lowe vote that Kanye, the only recieved 1% of the vote. Joe Biden led and got 48% and Donald Trump got 40%.
The rapper hired 180 people as his campaign staff and the staff was meant to get him on a ballot in Florida and South Carolina. The two states had ha deadline for July to get a candidate on the ballot, because he had missed the deadline for all the other states.
The ‘Runaway’ hitmaker has recently came foward explaining that he does not consider Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden as a serious contender. Kanye also shared that he will no longer be supporting Donald Trump even though he still somehow still views him as special.
The 43 year old rapper has not yet made a public comment on the the end of his campaign. The public is waiting for the rapper to atleast post amini satement on social media informing his supporters on what has transpired with his presidential run.
