Nas hasn’t been making any moves musically, he is now back with new projects. In is new song titled ‘Ultra Black’ with Hit Boy the rapper name drops and disses female rapper Doja Cat. The diss came about as Doja had been seen around racial problematic issues.
The line by Nas in the song says “We going Ultra Black/ Unapologetically Black/The opposite of Doja Cat”. Many had been surprised and the diss and knew what the rapper had been referencing in the song. The line in the song came as a direct shot and mentioned the way Doja does not embrace her Black roots.
The diss and name drop came after Doja Cat has faced significant backlash earlier this year, as she criticized her South Africa heritage in several online chat rooms. The ‘Juicy’ singer has been accused for being friends with white supremacist. She has tried to defend her friends and make it clear that they are not racist but the public still thinks otherwise.
Social media wasted no time and applauded Nas for coming at Doja Cat. Many memes and comments surfaced in Twitter about the rappers shot. Nas is set to soon release other projects and fans are anticipating for his upcoming music, because he is a raw rapper and his music is appreciated.
